Two Killed In Sonex Crash At Oshkosh

A Sonex experimental airplane crashed into a row of military vehicles parked near the runway at Oshkosh on Tuesday afternoon, and two people on board were killed, local media is reporting. The names of the victims have not been released. Local police and fire teams responded to the crash, at about 3:20 p.m. There was no fire, and nobody on the ground was hurt. The airplane is registered to John Monnett Jr., the founder and president of Sonex, which is based in Oshkosh, according to the Oshkosh Northwestern. FULL STORY
