Conference On Bizjet Future

Hardly a day goes by without someone in the industry indulging in some crystal-balling so that may make a conference scheduled for London on Nov. 4-5 even more apropos. The third annual Future of Business Jets conference is scheduled for the Westbury Mayfair Hotel and will cover most of the topics that have been dealt with by pundits and CEOs at various shows and in media reports over the past few months. “As well as focusing on regulatory, legal, financial, insurance, and technical issues, The Future of Business Jets will provide a forum for topical issues,” a conference brochure reads.

The conference is chaired by Sean Gates and, predictably, a lot of the speakers will be talking about the economy in reference to bizjet sales. Claudio Camelier, of Embraer, has entitled his presentation “The Current State of Play in the Business Jet Market.” Andrew Hoy, of ExecuJet is tackling “Where Does the Global Company Go From Here?” and Brian Humphries, CEO of the European Business Aviation Association, is taking on “Perception and Reality: The True Value of Business Aviation.” There are also presentations on technical, regulatory and legal topics.
