A helicopter plunged into the waters near Pearl Harbor memorial sites in Hawaii Thursday with five aboard, includinga 16-year-old boy who was taken to the hospital in critical condition. A 50-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman also were treated at the scene by Honolulu Emergency Medical Services and taken to the hospital in stable condition, KHON2 reported. Other emergency crews aided two others, whose conditions were unknown.

A bystander caught the incident on video, showing what appears to be a Bell 206 helicopter descending into the water just off the shoreline near the USS Arizona Memorial. It rolled upside down after going into the water. Four of the passengers were able to evacuate on their own, the station reported. The nearby Pearl Harbor Visitor Center and Arizona Memorial were closed and the FAA and NTSB were called to the scene.
