The Scalaria Air Challenge began as a gathering of seaplane pilots on Lake Wolfgang in Austria but it’s become a major airshow event with all sorts of other aircraft displays. However, the seaplane roots are clearly in evidence and anyone who comes in on floats or in a flying boat gets special consideration. It’s also a chance to show off a little.
