MEBA Next Week In Dubai

0

The Middle East Business Aviation show starts Dec. 11 in Dubai and while the market has cooled in that part of the world it’s still expected to be a big show. There are still plenty of people in that part of the world with the resources to buy or replace aircraft and the show organizers make a point of stressing that they’re attracting high-net-worth individuals, government reps and corporate decision-makers. Hundreds of exhibitors will have booths at the show and there will be about 30 aircraft in the static display. For the first time this year there will be a U.S. Pavilion and there is a strong U.S. presence at the show.

Hawker Beechcraft, Eclipse and Cirrus will all be there, along with dozens of service and support businesses. Neither Piper nor Cessna are listed among the exhibitors. The static display will be dominated by heavy iron. Airbus will have three airliner-based bizjets on the ramp, including ACJ318, 319 and 320 models. Boeing will have a BBJ and Gulfstream, Bombardier and Embraer will have all their biggest models there.
