Tecnam at Sun ‘n Fun

Tecnam said on Tuesday at Sun ‘n Fun they will establish a new facility at Sebring Airport in Florida to serve their North American customers. The facility will provide customer service and support, demo flights for potential buyers, expanded spare-parts capacity, re-assembly for both LSA and Part 23 certified aircraft, and sales and marketing. The company will occupy a 21,000-square-foot facility already in place. Paolo Pascale, CEO of Tecnam, said the new facility is “just the start of fulfilling our ambition to set up a dedicated production facility in the USA.”

Tecnam, based in Italy, manufactures several LSA designs as well as the certified P Twenty-Ten and the P2006T light twin. The company said it will have more news to reveal next week at the Aero Friedrichshafen show in Germany. AVweb’s editorial director Paul Bertorelli will be there to report on all the breaking news from that event.
