EAA Chapter 1252 is hosting a pancake breakfast fly-in on Saturday, July 12 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Elyria, Ohio Airport. Just $6 for all the pancakes you can eat along with sausage and beverage. Going a little beyond the standard pancake fly-in breakfast, if you can make it to Ryan Field, Tucson, Ariz., this Saturday between 8:00 and 11:00 a.m., for the Breakfast Fly and Ride In, you’ll get to enjoy an omelet bar. Organizers say there will be juice and coffee to go with your omelet as well as friends to chat with.

The Commemorative Air Force is presenting the Red Tail Squadron, Rise Above Traveling Exhibit at the Mason City, Iowa Airport Thursday the 10th through Saturday the 12th. The immersion exhibit includes a 30-seat, 160-degree panoramic screen theatre and a free showing of the original film Rise Above, which highlights the courage and determination of the Tuskegee Airmen. Hours are 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. An F-4U Corsair and Boeing Stearman will be on display. The Wilkes Flying Club, at Wilkes County Airport, North Wilkesboro, N.C., is holding a fly-in social and potluck on Saturday the 12th from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Members of the flying club will be greeting visitors and giving a short presentation regarding what the club and the airport have to offer.
