AVweb’s search of news in aviation turned up a Published Pricing feature for OverhaulBids.com, an expansion for a Piper training school, Airforms’ latest product for Cessnas, and a new look for the Diamond DA40 Tundra version. OverhaulBids.com now offers Published Pricing for engine overhauls. Know the cost for Lycoming, Continental, and Pratt & Whitney overhauls. Alan Depauw, Overhaul Bids founder, said these price lists are a great way for anyone looking to buy an aircraft, or just for long-term budgeting. Legacy Flight Training has moved their Vero Beach base of operations toa new training facility on-site at the Piper Aircraft Headquarters. The new training facility easily houses the existing Meridian and Mirage/Matrix simulators and offers ample space for additional simulators in the future.

Amidst a torrent of recent new PMA announcements, Airforms Inc. adds yet another set of engine baffles to the list. The growing line of FAA PMA’d replacement engine baffles now includes parts for Cessna 172RGs. The newly approved Cutlass RG baffles expand Airforms’ engine baffle product line to over 60 applicable aircraft models. The baffles are eligible for installation on serial numbers 172RG0001 through 172RG0817, and also from 172RG0891 through 172RG1191.Scheme Designers and Diamond Aircraft are presenting a unique livery for the newly introduced Diamond DA40 TUNDRA. The new DA40 TUNDRA, on display at last month’s NBAA convention, featured an exterior design that embodies the sense of adventure and rugged nature personified by this aircraft.
