Jimmy Rossi, of Avalon Airshows Ltd., was killed October 4after his F-86 Sabre crashed three miles from the San Isidro Air Base, nearSanto Domingo, Dominican Republic. Rossi was part of the air show that tookplace at that base during the weekend, sponsored by the Dominican Air Force.Rossi was the owner of a vintage F-86 and a MiG-15, with which he flewregularly in aerobatic shows and mock dogfights…US Airways reported a $335 million third-quarter loss, whichis an improvement over last years third-quarter loss of $766 million.
