A dying Alaskan’s last wish came true recently thanks to the thoughtfulness of hospice staff and the generosity of a local pilot. Ernest “Jim” Montgomery wanted one last flight over the spectacular Kenai Peninsula. Eleven days after entering the hospice with terminal lung cancer, Montgomery was in Jon Butler’s Super Cub enjoying the view.
