Triple-Team Hose Job
Jeffrey N. Jeffords of Lenoir City, TN
I was fortunate enough to be in another airplane close to a de-icing pad during a recent Memphis hub launch in the middle of the night. This MD-11 was getting hosed by three separate de-icing trucks. I opened my window and steadied the camera on the window sill for this half-second exposure. Nikon D700 camera; Nikon 70-200 f2.8 VR lens @ 240mm (1.4x teleconverter); 1/2 second exposure @ f4.0; 250 ISO; edited for clarity & size in Photoshop.

This is a digital photo of a [print from a] photograph I took while we were living in the Yukon Territory in the mid-1970s. The event was Sourdough Rendezvous in Febuary. It is darkish as this is what the weather could be like. I reszed the original digital photo to fit your requirements. I used a Canon FTb for the original and a Canon Sure Shot A630 for the JPEG.
