Picture of the Week: AVweb's Flying Photography Showcase
Catching the Day's Last Rays!
My Cessna 170B shot by Josh Kneer (Nikon D5100) from his Cessna 180 while on a gorgeous flight over So. Cal.
Sunrise in the Saline Valley with a full moon getting ready to set. Camping at the Chicken Strip on March 7.
The Once and Future Hangar Queen
I did the Kennedy Space Center tour back in January, and it included the Vehicle Assembly Building. Inside was Endeavor being prepped for delivery. I'm hoping to get some great shots of Discovery being delivered to the Udvar-Hazy next week. (Ed. Note: E. J.'s photo was submitted a few weeks back.)
Shot with a Canon T1i; cropped and contrast adjusted.
ATR 72 in Danube Wings, flying with one engine turned off.
Edited in Photoshop Elements.

Sitting Pretty at Burke Lakefront Airport
On the ramp at Burke Lakefront Airport on a beautiful VFR day in Ohio (which doesn't happen very often)!
No manipulation; iPad 2 camera.
