PREVIOUS RESULTS ***

Last week, the outpouring of support from pilots for residents of Texas who were affected by Hurricane Ike prompted us to ask if you’d ever used your airplane for humanitarian purposes.

We listed several popular methods of helping out (mainly those we’ve engaged in or know others who regularly engage in), but the largest segment of respondents still told us My volunteering experience doesn’t gibe with any described in the choices. Right behind those answers, however, came another 30% who said are members of volunteer flight groups and another 21% who are interested in volunteering but not certain where they could help out.
