A sharp-eyed reader saw this NOTAM scrawled on the restroom wall at the National Flight Data Center (NFDC) Visitors Center and Gift Shoppe in Washington, D.C.:
!FDC 3/5098 ZKC AIRSPACE ADS-B SERVICES TIS-B AND FIS-B AVBL JUNE 28, 2013…FOR A GOOD BRIEFING CALL AFSS.
While nearly impossible to read aloud, this missive is decodable. ZKC is Kansas City Center and ADS-B means Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast. Decode TIS, FIS (of TIS-B and FIS-B) and AVBL.
