Question of the Week
The magic 8-ball says Sport Pilot rules may be coming around the corner any day now. Are you looking forward to them?
Let's get this party started.
What's good for the industry is good for me, regardless of whether or not the Sport Pilot rules ever apply to me.
This may be a bit of a double-edged sword. If the rules actually do catch on, I'm not sure I'm looking forward to all the extra (slow) weekend traffic clogging the pattern at my favorite $100 hamburger joint.
What ever happened to "a private pilot certificate is a license to learn"? We have laws now that designate and regulate ultralight aircraft. We don't need a new category for fat ultralights; we just need to enforce the rules we have now.
