Question of the Week

Is there a place for digitally altered photos in ''Picture of the Week''?
SURE. As long as the photos are clearly identified, I don't see any problem accepting them. Photo manipulation takes a certain amount of skill, too, and I'd like to see any good aviation photos you come across.
MAYBE. I enjoy seeing the digitally altered photos, but ''POTW'' should be about photographic skill, not photo manipulation.
NO WAY. It takes a lot of skill to capture aircraft in motion, to frame just the right image of an interesting-looking plane, or to catch that one moment that makes me laugh. I don't want to see doctored images in ''POTW.''
