Another case of a non-aviation-savvy jury acting in ignorance.
Good for the industry.
A good swift kick in the butt for Lycoming — we'd all like an engine we can rely on built by a company we can rely on. ... Whatever happened to that Honda engine we heard so much about?
Complicated. We need Lycoming to be strong and prosper — for all our sakes. But we need them to be deserving of that prosperity. We also need justice.
A very, very bad thing. For everyone.
Clearly a mistake. I'm sure this is not the end of the story and Lycoming will be vindicated.
Who cares? I'm worried that Lycoming has stuck us with crankshafts that will break.
