Question of the Week

With the FAA looking for money, what does your crystal ball say about the future of aviation in the U.S.A.? (Of the available options, choose the one that prompts your allegiance.)
Privatization of flight service, then user fees, then privatization of air traffic control. Whatever the order, eventually we'll see all three.
FSS will be privatized, but user fees for ATC and FSS are not coming to the USA.
We'll be paying extra for something other than gas.
I think my days of flying are numbered. I can barely afford the avgas now; I won't be able to afford the avgas plus fees — of any kind.
The fuel spike is temporary; the FAA funding problem is temporary. Let's not get crazy here.
The FAA worked hard to create all-new rules for Sport Pilot and therefore has an interest in its success. I don't see the FAA making Sport Pilots pay user fees.
