Question of the Week

Will there or won't there be a shortage of controllers? The FAA is walking a new tightrope under a stricter budget and NATCA believes trouble is on the horizon.

What do you think about the (allegedly?) forthcoming controller crisis?

I'm not concerned.
Maybe if NATCA could accept lower pay, there'd be more controllers and safer skies.
We need controllers, and we will have enough to do the job — I don't believe the FAA will jeopardize safety in U.S. skies.
Controllers are the single most important part of the equation — we'd better have enough, and they'd better be properly compensated!
