Question of the Week

According to the manufacturers, thousands of Very Light Jets have already been ordered. This week, we invite you to speculate on what this means for the burgeoning VLJ market.

Does the market exist for thousands of Very Light Jets?

I don't understand the question. If thousands have been ordered, there's a market for thousands.
YES, there's a market. For those ordered and thousands more!
MAYBE. The key part of the equation is
NO. Thousands of VLJs? Maybe there are more VRPs (Very Rich People) out there than I thought, but I don't expect I'll be spending $300 on 300-mile trips-of-convenience anytime soon.
The best thing about this for me? One step closer to (truly) affordable light jets. My prediction for the near future? Piston-twins are history.
