What would you prefer to fly and own: a factory built aircraft or a kit aircraft?
Definitely a kit given the performance advantage over factory models.
Factory. I don't have time to construct.
Factory. Kit aircraft are too demanding for pilot skills.
Kits. You'll never truly understand what is inside of an airplane until you've built it yourself.
