Question of the Week
So — how's the FAA doing? Select the answer that most closely matches your attitude toward the organization.
It was a rocky start, but let's give the process a chance to work. The FAA makes mistakes, too ... but they haven't made this one yet (the "Air Tour" NPRM). Information from two (one that was extended) comment periods plus two public meetings is still being sorted and collected. There is no final rule.
Without groups like NATA, EAA, AOPA, (and this time, the SBA) to champion common sense and defend the interests of pilots from the blind hand of the FAA the individual pilot would really be up a creek without a paddle.
I've never submitted comments regarding any proposed rule, and I'm doing just fine.
The FAA: Working hard to protect pilots from flight.
