AVweb wants to know how news of a Light Sport Aircraft from Cessna is affecting our readers. Are you reconsidering the Sport Pilot revoltion? Or is LSA something that just doesn't affect you?

What effect has Cessna's possible entry had on your feelings about purchasing a Light Sport Aircraft?

None. I don't plan on purchasing an LSA.

A Cessna product would be my first choice.

If Cessna enters the market below $100K, I'll be following.

Cessna Shmessna. I'll purchase what's best for me.

Competition is good for Darwinian improvement, but when the parameters are fixed (weight, speed, etc.) perhaps we'd all be better off with only one design to choose from. If all purchases are forced through one channel, the price of production and price of the product could drop to create a truly affordable airplane. I'll be happy if Cessna lands on top of that pile.

See above, but I don't care who lands on top, given it's affordable (and reliable).
