Question of the Week

Is 100LL nearly extinct? Some would argue gasoline is almost extinct! Tell us how you feel about 100LL and the alternatives that are still tantalizingly over the horizon.

How do you feel about being stuck burning 100LL?

I'm stuck burning 100LL — if it goes away, my flying days are over.
100LL will be around as long as I am — even if I fly for another 35 years — and filling my plane with it will always be cheaper than buying and installing an STC'd engine that runs on something else.
Give me a turbine-powered aircraft that I can afford, and we can end this nonsense.
If 100LL goes away, there will be no smooth transition — say 'goodbye' to a massive segment of general aviation. At best, we can hope that a fresh start will begin with superior engines and fuels.
Praying for an inexpensive alternative engine — and someone who'll buy my 100LL-burner.
Maybe I'll be flying an LSA after all.
