Question of the Week

We've probably asked this before, but it's come up again, and we're wondering if you've changed your mind on it: This time, there's actually a petition against allowing cell phone use on airliners.

Should passengers be allowed to use their cell phones on airliners?

Absolutely. Why should airliners be any different than any other public place?
Sure, but with limitations on when the calls are made.
It's O.K. with me — as long as there's a separate area on the airplane for people to make their calls.
Those who want to use their cell phones should have to pay extra and sit in a segregated area.
Absolutely not. There are enough indignities in airline travel today without having to listen to other passengers' private phone conversations.
