Question of the Week

The race is one for ownership of Columbia Manufacturing!

Who will win the bankruptcy sweepstakes for ownership of Columbia?

Cessna. Regardless of anything else, you can't discount their deep pockets.
Cessna — but Cirrus's involvement will make the acquisition much less of a bargain.
Cirrus — although the competition from Cessna will have made the price too high to make it a bargain for anyone.
Cirrus, because it fits their business model better (and Cessna will realize that during the bidding).
Neither Cessna nor Cirrus. The bidding will get high enough that both companies will realize they can't make money, and a bidder with more money than aviation knowledge will swoop in.
