Question of the Week

A recent incident in Nevada has some calling for a ban on experimental and/or homebuilt airplanes at major airports in densely populated areas. We want to hear what you think.

Should certain types of aircraft (e.g. experimental homebuilts) be restricted at airports in densely populated areas?

Yes, only certified aircraft flown by pilots with Private certificates and higher should fly there.
Certified and LSA aircraft flown by appropriately certificated pilots are O.K.
Homebuilts should have at least 200 hours on them before flying there.
Proven homebuilt designs that have been properly inspected should be allowed.
Homebuilts should have the same access as any other aircraft.
OTHER (My opinion doesn't appear as a choice.)
