Question of the Week

Saturday's deadly midair collision over the Hudson River has spurred calls for closing the VFR corridor or at least tightening up on regulations. We'd like to hear what you think.

Should the Hudson River Corridor be more tightly regulated?

No, it's fine the way it is. Midairs can happen anywhere.
It's worth a look because of the density and nature of its traffic, but the corridor should remain VFR.
There may be a case for making it controlled airspace.
Only Mode C- and TCAS-equipped aircraft should be permitted there.
Just close it. It's dangerous and not necessary.
OTHER (My opinion doesn't appear as a choice.)
