Question of the Week

The National Association of Flight Instructors is saying that hours of experience may not translate to a measurable level of skill in pilots. We'd like your opinion on the matter.

Do hours make a difference to safety?

Basing qualifications on experience is an outdated concept and should be abolished.
The minimums should be based on the amount of time required to learn and demonstrate the required skills.
Training is an essential component but can't cover every scenario.
Give me an experienced pilot over a trained pilot any day.
OTHER (My opinion doesn't appear as a choice.)
