Question of the Week

Where's your money on the future of aviation fuel? Proposals are out there to make it from algae, biomass, corn and simply reworking petroleum to give useable unleaded avgas.

What will be the aviation fuel of the future?

We're fine. We have enough petroleum resources, and the lead thing is a red herring.
Leaded fuel will be history soon, but the main source of aviation fuel will be petroleum.
For the short term, petroleum is viable, but we must keep working on alternatives.
Alternative sources will dominate within 10 years and be cleaner and more efficient.
Electric power is the way of the future.
OTHER (My opinion doesn't appear as a choice.)
