Although diesel aircraft engines have been around for at least a decade, the announcement that TCM is entering the market changes the landscape somewhat. With 100LL on the way out, is diesel the way of the future?

Would you consider a diesel engine for your aircraft?

I can hardly wait. Sign me up as soon as it's available for my plane.

I think it's a great alternative option and one I'll consider seriously.

Diesels are good, but there are still problems with weight and cost.

I'll sit on the fence for a while.

I'd like to see how the alternative gasoline fuels fare before I commit to a diesel.

Gasoline engines are far superior to diesel, and the fuel issues will be worked out.

OTHER (My opinion doesn't appear as a choice.)
