Question of the Week

A letter to the editor on Monday by Chuck Leathers suggesting increased regulation for radio-controlled models in light of the collision between a large RC model and a biplane earlier this month has caused a lot of discussion. Where do you stand?

Should there be tighter regulation of RC model aircraft?

The last thing this country needs is new regulations of any kind. The collision was a fluke. Regulations won't prevent freak accidents like that.
The RC community is self-regulating and doesn't need any more help to police itself.
RC models keep getting bigger and more capable. There should be some kind of limit on that.
Large RC models and their pilots should be certificated like flying pilots.
OTHER (My opinion doesn't appear as a choice — but maybe I'll send you an e-mail)
