Question of the Week

Last week, an aviation panel recommended the federal government subsidize the installation of ADS-B equipment in airliners and business jets. Does that make sense to you?

Should any aircraft owners receive federal funding to equip with ADS-B?

The feds should pay the whole bill for everyone, since ADS-B will save them billions in the long run.
A partial subsidy for mandatory equipage with ADS-B Out seems reasonable, and it should be available for all aircraft owners.
Only airliners and business aircraft should be subsidized.
Only privately-owned aircraft should be subsidized.
There should be no subsidies at all.
OTHER (My opinion doesn't appear as a choice — but maybe I'll send you an e-mail)
