With China courted by the West for the potential aviation business it might create, is the possibly suspect emergence of a high-tech F-35-esque stealth fighter of concern?

Is China a major aerospace power?

It's a joke.
They should concentrate on cheap power tools and feeding their people. Aerospace isn't their thing.
Whether it's real or not, the new fighter is an expression of ambition we can't ignore.
China's aerospace industry is a credible competitor to Western enterprises and now a potential military threat.
