Question of the Week

The NTSB is recommending the FAA mandate retrofits of shoulder restraints in all light aircraft that don't have them, saying that up to 50 percent of fatalities could be avoided. Do you agree?

Should shoulder restraints be mandatory?

Great idea. Major safety benefit for minor expense.
Good idea, but it could cause some financial hardship. How about a phased approach?
Make it mandatory for new aircraft.
It should be a matter of personal choice.
It's another attempt to nickel-and-dime GA to death.
OTHER (My opinion doesn't appear as a choice — but maybe I'll send you an e-mail)
