EAA is launching a Young Eagles-type program for adults. Will it help?

Can an EAA outreach program for adults bridge the pilot training gap?

YES. You're never too old to catch the flying bug, and actually flying is the best way to get it.
PROBABLY. Aviation is viewed by some as expensive and dangerous. Having a free, safe experience will change that attitude in many people.
MAYBE. Most adults with an interest in aviation will likely have tried it, but there might be some who will be inspired by this.
NO. We should stick with nurturing the interest in young people where we'll get the longest-term bang for the buck.
