Question of the Week

AVweb reader Bill Menzel wrote to us a few weeks ago: "A columnist in an aviation magazine recently mentioned in passing that he thought many pilots are actually afraid of heights."

Are you afraid of heights?

I am a pilot, and I'm never afraid of heights in an airplane — but I get sweaty palms when I'm near the edge of a cliff or looking over the side from a high building.
I'm not a pilot. Heights don't bother me in an airplane, but otherwise they do.
Heights never bother me.
Bring on the cliffs and window-washers' suspended scaffolds! I love scaling heights!
