Question of the Week

The FAA has backed off on integrating UAVs into the NAS, citing privacy concerns. Is that a wise move?

Did the FAA make the right call in deciding not to address the integration of UAVs into the air space right now?

UAVs are a fact of life, and there are new industries ready to exploit them. Integration should be fast-tracked.
Other countries are allowing their use and adapting regulations as required to accommodate them. The FAA should consider that.
Safety is the main priority, and until UAV manufacturers can prove their devices can be seamlessly integrated they should remain grounded.
UAVs will never integrate safely into regular air space, and it's a waste of time and money to try.
