A California climatologist thinks polar air traffic might be behind the accelerating melting of the Arctic ice cap, and most light aircraft use leaded fuel.

Does the environmental impact of your flying concern you?

Aviation is such a small contributor to pollution that it's insignificant.
I think about it more than I used to, and I think aviation could do better.
Aviation needs to step up with new technology and a will to lessen its environmental impact.
The aviation industry should be given firm deadlines to stop polluting the environment.
