Alaskan officials attribute a steady decline in accidents and fatalities to increased safety awareness and the adoption of more safety-related gear.

Are you well-equipped, safety-wise?

I've added a 406 ELT and ADS-B and carry a personal locator/tracker, and I've given my head a shake when contemplating a risky flight.
I'm slowly acquiring the technology, but I generally wait until the price comes down or the feds make me get it.
A current pilot is a safe pilot. I spend the money on fuel.
I figure if my number is up, it's up.
