All About Stearman! Join us Sept. 1-7, 2008, for the 37th National Stearman Fly-In at the Galesburg Municipal Airport. It’s the must-attend event of the year for Stearman enthusiasts – and for those who appreciate the contributions to America’s freedoms made by these World War II-era biplane trainers and the men and women who flew them.

This year’s schedule will include programs on Stearman history, technical seminars on flying and maintaining these warbirds, a variety of flying contests, a Dawn Patrol, lunchtime flyouts, a pizza party and a Labor Day evening picnic. And there will be plenty of time to enjoy the sound of radial engines and relax with friends.

The Fly-In’s annual awards banquet on Saturday night and a Sunday morning airport breakfast will conclude the fun.
