Blue Mountain EAA Chapter 604 is hosting Aviation Safety and LSA Seminars on Sunday June 1, 2008 at Martin Field (S95) near Walla Walla, WA. The first seminar about Flying in Seattle Class B Airspace and the second seminar, on Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFR), are refresher courses designed to help you fly in controlled airspace confidently and relaxed. Don’t hesitate to fly to Seattle, Spokane, Portland, or Boise because you are nervous about talking on the radio and working with ATC. A Sport Pilot & LSA seminar is targeted at Private Pilots with either a current or expired Third Class Medical Certificate who want to learn the specifics about the new Sport Pilot program. This seminar will cover what you need to know to transition from a Private Pilot certificate to Sport Pilot and will cover medical requirements, when and where you can fly, what aircraft meet the Light Sport Aircraft definition, and limitations on those aircraft. The University’s Aviation Club will also hold a Spot Landing Contest for lots of fun and glory. Please see our website http://eaa604.googlepages.com
