Colorado Sport Intn'l Air Show & 30th Ann. Rcky Mtn Rg. Fly-In
The Rocky Mountain Regional Fly-In is one of seven regional events nationwide supporting the mission of the Experimental Aircraft Association (www.eaa.org). We host a family oriented weekend event attended by up to 400 aircraft from around the country. During the three-day event, the FAA, EAA and industry leaders present over 20 educational and safety forums. Building workshops for adults (welding, sheet metal, riveting techniques, etc.) and youth (ESTES model rocketry, balsa aircraft, rib building, etc.) help spark a new interest in learning and aviation. Two activities designed specifically for young people are the Flight Simulator area combined with other fun aviation activities and Young Eagles Rides (ages 8-17) provided by local EAA Chapters.
