Celebrating excellence in air traffic management

Building on the successful CANSO ATM Dinner & Jane’s ATC Awards show last year CANSO, the Global Voice of ATM, and Jane's Airport Review are once again joining forces to celebrate excellence in global air traffic management.

CANSO is pleased to invite the world’s ATM leaders to the industry’s social event of the year and enjoy a spectacular evening of fine food, top quality entertainment, and unrivalled networking opportunities with 400 industry leaders. The event will take place on the night of 5 March 2012 at the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The Janes 2012 ATC Award Categories are:

• Environment
  
  To recognize work on ‘green’ ATM concepts


• Enabling Technology
  
  For contribution to enhanced capacity and safety


• Service Provision
  
  For contribution to safe and efficient airspace management


• Industry
  
  Reflecting a significant contribution by equipment suppliers


• Innovation
  
  For small enterprises that have raised ATM performance


• Contribution to European ATM
  
  For enhanced European operations


• Runway Safety
  
  A new award category that recognizes efforts to improve safety on or near the runway

Nominations will be assessed by a panel of experienced judges from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Eurocontrol, CANSO, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and IHS Jane’s. Winners will be selected from a shortlist and announced during the event in Amsterdam. Nominations for the 2012 awards are closed.
