Nominate an FBO | Rules | Tips | Questions | Winning FBOs

Each week, AVweb's editors will choose one FBO from those nominated by our readers as our FBO of the Week.  The winning FBO will receive an AVweb "FBO of the Week" ribbon suitable for display, and the person who nominated the FBO will receive an official AVweb baseball cap.  Both will be mentioned (and duly praised) in the Monday edition of our AVwebFlash newsletter and on the AVweb.com web site.

Some Basic Rules

1. AVweb will retain publishing rights to your comments and ratings.  We may publish all or part of your comments as part of our "FBO of the Week" coverage, now or in the future.

2. All entries considered for the purpose of the contest must be submitted via this form.  No submissions sent to AVweb via e-mail will be acknowledged or considered as contestants.

3. Each week's winner(s) will be chosen at the sole discretion of AVweb and its editors.  Judging for each week's contest is done prior to the publication of our Monday issue of the AVwebFlash newsletter.  Entries received after the judging process begins will be automatically rolled over into the next week's contest.

4. AVweb reserves the right to edit your comments as necessary (for length, clarity, decorum, etc.) at our discretion prior to publishing.

And a Few Tips

1. Entertain and engage us!  Tell us what this FBO did that was outstanding, how they solved a problem, or regale us with a humorous anecdote about your visit.

2. Please limit your nominations to one per FBO per month.

3. Inform the FBO that you are nominating them for this contest — and tell them why.  (This won't increase your chances of winning, but we're sure the FBOs will appreciate it.)

4. Encourage your fellow pilots to participate!
