July 25, 2010 EAA AirVenture Requests Sunday Detours to Appleton, Fond du Lac

If you're flying into Wittman Field today (July 25, 2010), EAA AirVenture officials request that you plan on landing at either Appleton (ATW) or Fond du Lac (FLD) due to continuing wet conditions on the field. EAA's Dick Knapinski says wardbirds, classics, and homebuilts can be accomodated on Sunday. Normal operations are expected to resume on Monday.
