The expense and limited availability of choices in the aviation insurance market of late has led many operators to re-evaluate their risks and find ways to minimize them. Since pilots who undergo recurrent training on a regular basis are far less likely to have accidents, making sure you get some formal training every six months or so can help. While regular training won't replace a good insurance policy, it can certainly increase your comfort level. AVweb's Rick Durden shows you how.
