After 19 years as a naval aviator, Bob Norris was a month away from getting his own carrier squadron when he was grounded with a rare brain condition. After an operation, paralyzed but energized, he wrote a novel in his head. He's now working on his fourth book in the series, which is about the mindset and the hardware of aerial warfare.
