“Given its excellent fit, we would pick the Kennon as thebest of the high-wing models and we suspect it will last for years.”

Aviation Consumer, January 1995

Why Kennon’s Cabin Cover Design Is Superior

  1. Kennon builds a pocket for every door handle or latch, taking extra time and effort to assure a better fit. Fit is everything when building a plexiglas-safe cover.
  2. Kennon’s cabin covers have a scalloped hem design with two straps, one fore and one aft of the wing. The curved design makes the cover fit snugly against the plane.
  3. Every cover has an entry flap to allow cockpit access without its removal.
  4. Straps can be adjusted on both sides by quick-release fasteners. The straps can be removed and stored or washed separately.
  5. Every high-wing cover incorporates a fiberglass stiffening rod that keeps the cover snugly secured to the frame at the top of the windshield so that the wind cannot blow between the cover and the window.
  6. Kennon’s deluxe covers use a satin lining over the entire window area, not of a fuzzy lining that tends to collect sand and dirt that will later scratch your windows. Satin is so slippery that nothing sticks to it.

Kennon’s “Standard” Cabin Covers include your choice of exterior color, N-number silk-screened onto the cover, and all antennas completely covered. “Deluxe” Cabin Covers are the same but come with a slippery satin lining and cost $75 more. (90% of our customers order the satin-lined “Deluxe” covers.)

Sunblocker Wing and Tail Covers

The horizontal surfaces of your plane take a beating in the sun. Left unprotected, the paint loses its luster and turns chalky. Kennon’s Sunblocker Wing and Tail Covers are made from “Sunbrella” – the same soft, woven acrylic canvas used to build boat tops and awnings. Select from over 40 colors to coordinate with your airplane.

Sunblocker wing and horizontal stabilizer covers for all single and twin aircraft $470, inboard covers for twins $150.

Spoiler Mesh Wing and Tail Covers

Kennon’s spoiler mesh covers are designed for specifically severe wintertime use. They protect the wing and horizontal stabilizer from snow without freezing onto the aircraft skin, and their built-in spoilers provide protection from high winds.

Kennon’s Cowl Cap

Kennon’s Cowl Cap covers air intakes, preventing birds from nesting and dirt from infiltrating the cowling. The Cowl Cap, made from Sunbrella, also covers the top of the cowling to protect the painted surface from the sun. Kennon’s Cowl Cap stays securely in place with a strap underneath the belly and two bungee cords extending back to the strut or to the step of a high wing aircraft; or the trailing edge of the wing of a low wing aircraft. Cowl Cap $135.
