When the captain of a Continental Airlines flight collapsed at the controls on a flight to Puerto Vallarta 10 days ago, his first officer put the call out for pilots aboard the Boeing 757. Two men volunteered, and Stephen Brown, a 150-hour Cessna pilot from Albuquerque, was the most qualifiied to step into the right seat and lend a hand for the emergency landing at McAllen, Texas. In an exclusive interview with AVweb's Russ Niles, Brown takes us through that once-in-a-lifetime experience.
